This session will focus on the evolving tools and platforms - both commercial and noncommercial -- that make DIY video production and distribution easier, cheaper and more compelling. Panelists will also discuss recent innovations in and experience with ad revenue sharing models for DIY creators. The panel will be moderated by Walter Baer and speakers will include Angela Gyetvan, VP of Marketing and Content for Revver, Dean Jansen, Executive Director of the Participatory Culture Foundation, Mike Hudack of blip.tv, Maryrose Dunton head of User Experience at YouTube, and Marc Davis, Social Media Guru at Yahoo!. Joi Ito, Chairman of the Board of Creative Commons, will be the respondent.
