Jennifer Urban is a Clinical Associate Professor of Law at USC. She teaches Intellectual Property and classes related to Technology Law and Policy. She is a member of the USC Center for Communication Law and Policy and is the Director of the USC Intellectual Property and Technology Law Clinic, where students learn intellectual property law through hands-on work with cutting-edge, real-world projects. Prior to joining the faculty in 2004, Professor Urban was a lecturer and visiting professor at Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to that, she was an attorney with the Venture Law Group in Silicon Valley. She received the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology Distinguished Alumni Award in 2003.
