Adrienne Russell

The State of Research
Adrienne Russell is an Assistant Professor at the University of
Denver's Digital Media Studies program. Her current research considers
the role of new-media networks and products in redefining our
understanding of news authority, truth, and credibility. She is
writing a book entitled Networked, a history of the end of mass-media
news and the beginning of networked news. She is also co-editor with
Nabil Echchaibi of a forthcoming volume on the political, social,
cultural, and technological contexts of international blogging. Her
work has been published in several scholarly journals and she has
received awards for her research from both the International
Communication Association and the Association for Education in
Journalism and Mass Communication.
